Taki is one of those people who will not be happy until he can only be destroyed by another tank, with damage mods and a 3 proto turrets.
My suit's a bit rusty, but that could just as easily be me!

Nice try but since i tanked all the way though 1.0 to pre 1.7 and in PC where it was proto vs proto and not scrubby pubs i can use underpowered vehicles against OP AV and still come out top CCP changed vehicles yet again and i did what i could with what i was given but all infantry did was cry OP Now vehicles have less hulls/modules/skills/turrets/slots so less variety so tripple rep maddies are used more often because they actually work in pubs but in PC they are useless so really not OP against competant teams just OP against window lickers like you mac
See, says he can still do well, yet believes Tanks are UP. I have never said I disagree when it comes to a lack of choice, but giving people more choice won't make anything more less OP, look at Infantry we have 20 different suits, +30 weapons and whole host of modules, but everyone still uses the same stuff because it's OP.
And this where we get tomthe whole zero sum arguememt again, you say it's not OP against competent teams, which should be a given in any situation, no one man should ever out perform teamwork.
But if they are using teamwork (the act of multiple people working together to achieve a common goal) against a single man in a tank, then they will effectively be at disadvantage because that is less people to fight other objectives or points.
By your exsistence you debuff the other team, this is poor gameplay, you should instead be empowering your own team. So, so long as you cannot be taken out by a single person using no more teamwork than you are, it is unbalanced.
I could go through the whole theory again with you but I tried once before and all that was returned was insults because of your lack of comprehension.
However tanks currently are pretty balanced, if I come across a skilled tanker, he can escape, he can cause trouble, he can even win his team the match. Ans that's no problem, some tactics work best when the tanker sits their in first person view and he can't see you stick RE's tomhis weak spot.
Now all that needs to be done, is the removal of table tops, places where a forge gunner can supress a large stretch of map with little chance of rebuke. Bring them down to ground level. The reason you believe me to inept is purely because I will not use broken or unfair tactics.

Tankers will in no way remain unchecked, it's just it won't be as simple as 1) Take dropship to high ground 2) Spam Hives and uplinks 3) Suicide, return as a forge gun 4) ??? 5) Profit

I'm going to have to bean you over the head for this assumption. A group of 2 is all that is really needed anymore, AND that team of 2 can suppress/destroy up to 5 vehicles at the same time. Not to mention that Forge Guns have no dispersion at longer ranges, making them still viable vs infantry.
I'm sorry but 2 AVers can suppress 5 tank? Simultaneously? Please do not taint these forums with Bull****, at most you can annoy one of them at a time, if you are lucky.
However we are now at the point where one man can get destroy or suppress one tank at a time. This is balanced.

Fix what you will, but. . . . for once and it's almost like a little part of me dies when I say it. I'm with the tankers on this one.
The tactics associated with the forge gun, specifically the use of towers and tabletops needs to be reduced.
